Public Information Metro System

MCEngineering has studied a visual information system for the Metro passenger based on an network of LCD monitor installed on the automatic platform doors.

The system is integrated in the communication network used for Metro control and it can acquire from it all useful information for the passenger.

On the monitor can be visualized information related to service (destination, arrival time of next train, door out of service, ..) together with videos (advertising clips, news, ..).

The system can be adapted to operate with any proprietary communication network available in the metro (Ethernet, serial lines, wireless, …).
